Welcome To Taurus Season

Updated: May 18, 2021

NEW SEASON, NEW ENERGY (Aries to Taurus).

Wow. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Aries season, you've got a purpose, but damn I felt your fire. This past month it seems like so many people I knew were going through this intense time of big energy coming from all sides. So many of us were exhausted, a little lost and sometimes it felt uncomfortable to be us. And what happens when we can't control the fire? Yep. You get burned. I saw how some people were operating on pure fire due to lack of control and almost out of desperation. It was a WILD month.

How did you handle Aries season? What did you learn?

As we transition into the second month of spring, we are moving into a space that's more patient, stable and reliable. We aren't operating from that swift energy anymore. Now we're taking a moment to pause, think and be realistic about what we want, and what is possible. Taurus is a fixed sign meaning we may not want to budge this month. Making decisions and sticking to them will be a theme, not because we have to but because we want to.

In tarot we are moving from The Emperor to The Hierophant. The Hierophant? Yes. We already know ALL about this card because this card is the theme of 2021. Taurus is ruled by this card because they believe and thrive in the stability and structure. This card can also touch on the tradition of marriage and our connection to the divine. I don't know about you, but a lot of Taurus people I know, of those who have a lot of Taurus energy, tend to lean more toward a traditional (call it old school) mindset. This isn't a bad thing by any means. They just understand tradition and can use that as a theme to their life.

ENERGY FOR THIS MONTH: Seven of Pentacles.

Vision. Long-Term Goals. Patience.

This is a beautiful pair to The Hierophant if you ask me. Sevens have this theme of internal validation over external validation. On the traditional Smith Ryder Waite deck, we see a person who is farming. They are looking at their crop waiting patiently. Although they want their plant to be ready to go now, they understand this is a waiting game. It's that patience and the endgame that keeps them from picking a pentacle right off the vine. This month we will be asked to be even more patient than we have been these past few months. Sit. Meditate. Have the end goal in mind. Do not act out of fear that you may miss something.

P.S. If you’re interested, you can scroll and find I pulled three of the Major Arcana cards from a few of my decks and went over some general information about all 12 signs. I did that on the day each season started. Start there if you need a starting point. (https://www.instagram.com/balancedbruja)
